  I believe that this is working now, at least based on my testing in a dev environment. Perhaps we are close to having production quality search?!

  There was a slight problem with the reload, but that was due to a small issue with the xapit-sync plugin. I've sent the required fix to Ryan Bates.

  Until he includes the fix in his source tree, you have to add a
  

  require 'open-uri'
  

  to the lib/xapit-sync.rb file.
